As you may have noticed, the first 3 volumes of K in a W are missing, that's becasuse i think they are crappy and need to be re-drawn. in the meantime this spiffy prologue should help clear a few things up.

Many many years ago, a man named Ying existed.  Ying was unhappy with the present structure of the universe, he had 'renovation' plans.  At the time, 4 elements goverened the equilibrium of the universe, and as such, each element must be guarded my a specially selected planet, by a specially selected person.

The Element of Earth:

Guardian Planet: Earth (oh, like you didn't see that one comming...)
Guardian: Dian'ah (Dayna)

The Element of Wind:

Guardian Planet: Vesivus Martitech
Guardian: Iris/Siri

The Element of Water:

Guardian Planet: Verga
Guardian: Alexus

The Element of Fire:

Guardian Planet: Pyrodnis
Guardian: Christenya


Through 4 short stories i explain in detail how Ying manages to capture the 4 elements, but misses the water element temporarily.  while Ying tries to get the water element back, the remaining 3 elements escape with their guardians, setting Ying back to the beginning.

The 3 remaining Guardians (Dayna, Siri, and Christenya) escape to Earth where they stay for amny years safely.  Dayna and Christenya each have a daughter.  Dayna named her daughter Katherine or "Katy" for short, Katy was unexpectedly blessed as the Water Guardian when she returen home that night.  

Christenya's baby never got named.  the day she was born, a strange portal (from Yings domain named "The Nexus or Nixa") appeared in the nearby park.  through much persuation, Christenya convinces Dayna and Siri to let her fight with them even though she had just borne a child.

Inevitably, Christenya Dies.  a Nexus Spider escapes from the portal and attacks her poisoning her (ya, nexus spiders are about 8 feet tall and 15 feet wide... )  To remember Christenya, they name her daughter after her (but because They're idiots, they don't know how to spell 'Christenya') so they name the baby girl Crestenya.
